Nice and welcoming hosts. Clean and comfortable beds. We left early and didn't have breakfast, so unable to comment on breakfast. Average size room. Shower clean. We did think £135 was a little expensive for one night

Never have I been to an establishment, where I have had such a genuine warm and charming welcome, received absolutely exceptional but personal service, eaten the most amazing breakfasts and felt like a truly honoured guest in someone’s gorgeous home. Bojangles Guest House is a beautiful home which has been opened up to guests, who are made to feel incredibly welcome, are ridiculously well cared for and are treated like favourite family members in every encounter with the hosts. Maurice and Laureen seemed to be genuinely interested in us and were keen to tell us about the history of the house, and of Gretna. Upon arrival we were met in the car park by the very charming Maurice, who was delighted to welcome us and take us indoors. There we made very welcome by the lovely Laureen, who was keen to know what would be our breakfast choice and was willing to accommodate our every need. As soon as we walked in the door, we knew that we were going to have a lovely experience. The lounge and dining space was warm, welcoming and very relaxed. Every corner of Bojangles Gest House smelt divine! The spaces are very tastefully decorated and the furnishings are perfect. Lighting in all the different rooms is carefully considered. In our room we were delighted to receive home made cookies and charcoal filtered water. The room was gorgeous with the most comfortable bed, a pretty balcony with fresh flowers and a delightful shower room with divine toiletries. We even had robes behind the cleverly placed storage mirror. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I would quite liked to have taken the pillows home with me! Every single space is immaculate and super-clean. Breakfast was exceptional. The minute we sat down, Maurice magically appeared ready to give us coffee and juice followed by delicious home-made yoghurt, fruit compote and granola.
