Concord's Colonial Inn

Excellent location, nice room

Gruff receptionist. Withdrew deposit without explaining what for. Colonial Inn failed to respond to email inquiring when deposit would be returned.

The heat was a little to high for us

Pretty and clean. Room was up to date.

Parking was very confusing. The email notification of using a different parking lot had the wrong dates and there were no signs for additional parking anywhere to be found. I was harassed in the parking lot and threatened to have my car towed by 2 men while walking in to ask where additional parking was, staff were unconcerned with a single woman being harassed on their property. The building is a maze and is easy to get lost in. The room has no fridge or microwave, so planning meals ahead was a waste of time and money. The street was very loud between pedestrians, vehicles and music but did quiet down after 10PM.

The location was great. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean.The main restaurant was very good with great service and quality of food. We didn’t try the tavern because it was really busy the 2 nights we were there.

Parking, Parking, Parking. While it’s free parking and is supposed to be for guests, there are not enough spots. It makes going out to explore difficult if you don’t want to give up your spot. There is street parking but spots are hard to find. Also I think overnight parking is prohibited.
