Green Stay Village

Everything is so nice here! The rooms are big, clean, beautiful and so is the bathroom with big shower! Good AC, very nice and helpful owner! Wonderful green garden 🪴, free drinking water!

The location is about 4km from the center but it’s not a problem, we rented a scooter for 3 days so we could easily go to the city and to the temples!

The best thing about this property is Owner Mengly (and his family). He is very warm, approachable, and extremely responsive. He would cater to your questions/requests through Whatsapp almost instantaneously. He is also very flexible and very friendly. The property itself is great value - inexpensive yet very comfortable. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The property also offers laundry services, which is very fast (gave my clothes out in the morning, received them clean and fresh by evening). I also like that it very green, which makes the property a nice ambiance in my opinion. While the location is located a little far from the center, it makes the stay more peaceful (in my opinion). In any case, it is still accessible by tuktuk or Grab. The property also suggests a driver that could pick you up and/or tour you around Siem Reap during your stay. I’m not sure if Mengly knows other drivers, but mine was Sarith. Sarith was an exceptional and likewise inexpensive driver. Should you have him to take you around, he would be clear on where you would go for the day. He would tell you information about the site and will give you water and a towel constantly. He is kind (would offer me food), prompt and clear (never late and clear on where he will be waiting for you), trustworthy, and kind.

Amazing hotel and Mengley is an amazing host!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. They were also very caring and empathetic in my time of need. The accommodation was very comfortable. Set amongst a local village it was also a great learning opportunity for me. At the same time it was just a short tuk tuk ride into the city centre. I had a rich experience that I won’t forget. Lovely people and I’m so grateful to have met them.

Mengly was an amazing host. He communicated every step of the way and was helpful even before we arrived. We had trouble with a connection bus but he found one and reassured us when it broke down. So very very grateful to feel like we had a friend. The location was just how we like it, away from the hustle bustle and the neighborhood was super friendly.

That we couldn't stay longer! We did get an extra night but feel like we needed a week more.

Mengly and his wife are very kind and sweet hosts. They are willing to help with any inquiries you have. Laundry service was available. The room was super big and clean, the location gives you a bit of a jungle vibe, very beautiful to look at. Room had everything you need. Quiet and relaxed. Very good value!

Although not super far from city center, location was difficult to access by foot, if you want to save on tuk tuks. Especially difficult to find in the dark. Other than that everything seemed perfect.
