Older facility, could use updating. However, it was clean & the staff were friendly. Perk to staying here was you could watch the sea planes take off from the water while eating breakfast. Fun memory. Close to the airport.

First time staying in Anchorage and we are so thankful to have stayed here! It was super nice, convenient (as it’s close to the airport and the Uber standby station) and the attached restaurant was amazing. Will definitely be staying again!

"Don’t depend on the “free airport shuttle” - mine never came"

Close to airport and Katmai Air if you have an early morning flight. On-site restaurant serves good food and cocktails. Get the Halibut!

I arrived late at night with a 25kg suitcase that I had to carry up 2 a huge set of stairs and all the way to a room that felt so far away from reception. The front desk ladies didn’t seem happy. Very old rooms, need renovating especially for the price. It was SO expensive to stay here. Worst part was that I chose it for the “free airport shuttle” - it never came! It was late at night and so cold. I got the airport to call and ask where it was - they said they’d send one but it never came. I luckily got a lift with another hotels shuttle who was kind enough to take me. Even though this is one of the closest hotels to the airport and Katmai Air, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless your get it on a huge discount. Oh one other complaint - one of the barmen with a super annoying voice was talking some pretty inappropriate stuff loudly at the bar. I wasn’t personally offended at the sexual nature of what he was saying but no doubt other women would be.
