At Casa Coraje we want to give you the best of experiences, we invite you to read our general policies so that you have a wonderful stay. - All reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE - RESERVATION CANCELLATION Policy · Reservations that are canceled or modified 14 days or more in advance from the check-in date will have the right to reschedule their stay dates within the following six (6) months from the cancelation date. · Reservations that are canceled or modified between 3 - 14 days from the Check-In date would only have the right to reschedule dates in fully documented cases of force majeure and is granted at the discretion of the General Management. · If the guest does not arrive to take their reservation (NO SHOW), they will not have the right to reschedule dates, nor will any money be refunded. · All requests for cancelations and modifications must be submitted in writing via email. RELEVANT SCHEDULES · CHECK – ENTRANCE 2:00 pm · CHECK – OUT 11:00 a.m. · Reception Hours: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm · Breakfast hours: 7:30 am to 9:30 am · LATE CHECK OUT: Only possible with authorization; depending on room availability during your stay and until 5 pm. $50,000 will be charged per additional hour of stay. We ask guests to please return the room key to the front desk upon check-out. In case of loss or forgetfulness, a charge of $50,000 Colombian pesos will be made. SMOKE-FREE SPACES: Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms or in the indoor restaurant area. DRUG USE: The consumption or sale of illicit drugs is not permitted within the hotel facilities. Behaviors that affect the well-being of other guests may be penalized. MUSIC: Casa Coraje is in a privileged environment in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, for this reason our music is only admitted in the lobby and common areas, the entry of speakers or guest speakers is not allowed. MINORS: All children are welcome and pay the normal cost of an additional person, $150,000 (Children from 18 months). If you are not traveling with your parents, an authorization signed by the parents and notarized must be presented. FOOD AND DRINKS: Food and drinks other than those provided directly by the hotel restaurant are not allowed. Regarding alcoholic beverages, to be consumed in social areas, a corkage fee must be paid (the value depends on the type of liquor). POOL: Pool hours are from 9 am to 7 pm. The entry of minor children must be supervised by the adult in charge; The intake of food and drinks of any kind is not permitted inside the pool. PETS: At Casa Coraje you can be accompanied by your pet during your stay, but you must comply with the following policies: The stay has a cost per night, per pet, of $50,000. Only a maximum of 2 medium-sized pets are allowed in the room. Within your room and all areas of the hotel you must be responsible for the waste caused by your pet. Guests must try to bring the items to accommodate their pets (bed, cushion, sheets, towels). Pets should not sleep in the room's beds, nor should hotel linen be used for their care or cleaning. The value paid for the pet's stay does not include damages caused by the pets. INTERNET & WIFI: The Wifi service is completely free for our guests. However, it must be considered that it is a service that does not always work optimally because the provider is local and does not have much capacity. PALUNA RESTAURANT - BAR The restaurant service is an independent administration of Casa Coraje, therefore, the accounts are managed separately and payments for food consumption are made directly with the restaurant staff. ROOM SERVICE: Casa Coraje strives to preserve the environment in which it is located, for this reason, we refrain from bringing food or drinks to the rooms since rodents and wild animals can reach the rooms chasing the trail of food. . TOWELS: Upon entering the room you will find one set of towels per person, which are for use inside the room. Towels found in the room must be left in the room at the time of CHECK-OUT. At the reception you can request one towel per day per person for the beach. These are for exclusive use in this area. The loss of a towel costs $50,000. SAFE BOX: Inside the room you will find a safe box with its respective instructions. This has no additional cost. It is important to leave all valuables inside it. Damage, blocking or loss of the key has a cost of $80,000. PARKING: The hotel has a limited parking area, space is taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The entry of guest motorcycles to the beach is strictly PROHIBITED unless expressly authorized by the Hotel in cases of mobilizing disabled people; in order to preserve the beach area and mainly, guarantee what the experience at Casa Coraje offers, its essence, tranquility and rest. DRINKING WATER: The water from the taps is not drinkable, so guests are asked not to consume it. Please only consume the water that is available in the thermos that you find in the room or bottled water, or from our dispenser at the Reception. BEACH AREA: The Palomino Sea is going through a complex moment due to coastal erosion, for this reason there are days when it cannot be entered and others when it can. In any case, the entry is under the express responsibility of the guest and will not be a reason to request a refund. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: The hotel offers several additional services through trusted third-party providers. To use these services you must request them at the Reception, where you will be informed of the price, terms and conditions thereof. RIGHT OF ADMISSION: The hotel facilities are for the exclusive use of guests, so they are requested to inform the Reception of the entry of guests or additional people. Additional charges may apply. We reserve the right to admit occasional visitors, in no case is access to the rooms allowed. In case of violating the rule, the administrative body will have the right to coordinate your immediate departure. Me encanta todo en este lugar, he ido en varias ocasiones y siempre tengo muy buena experiencia, las instalaciones son muy lindas y cómodas, el servicio es impecable, el personal muy amable y dispuesto siempre ayudar, la comida es espectacular.

"Buena Comida Mala Gestion Operativa"

Las áreas comunes y las piscina. No tiene playa disponible. El menú de las restaurantes es bastante bueno.

La logística de llegada. Vía estrecha. Salir de noche puede ser un lío por el transporte. Es en motos y no es económico. Una noche no nos abrieron la puerta , tuvimos que esperar 20 minutos hasta que en uno de los teléfonos contesto un administrador del restaurante, el cual tuvo que levantarse , venir en moto y abrirnos la puerta. Eso simplemente es inaceptable y mal gestionado en la recepción. Adicionalmente, cuando llegue mi tipo de reserva no la tenían, y tuve que ir a otra habitación,menor en categoría y me tienen que acomodar alli. Repito desastre en la recepción. Y Administración.

Location is nice at the beach. walkable at to the main road where you have shops and restaurants(15min) It’s very green and full of shades and nice lounge chairs to chill. I liked that the music wasn’t too loud and that you could actually hear the sound of the ocean. Cleaning staff was friendly as well as the reception - gracias Maria!

- breakfast can improve, both quality and quantity. In any of the many hotels I’ve stayed in, there was always a fruit plate apart from the main breakfast option. Here, they charge you extra. Overall food could be tastier in my opinion. - can’t stress it enough to please add a sign next to the feet faucet that are on the floor, I hit that and my leg bruised! - can’t really go to the beach from the hotel, you need to walk a bit, in front of the resort to have sand and easier access to the sea. - reception closes quite early, and then you rely on the security guard (who’s covering the hole property) to open the main door when you ring the bell. Sometimes it took a bit longer than hoped.

Atención del personal Estéticamente es muy lindo Piscina es muy linda y tranquila Sonido del Mar es muy chévere

La comida es muy pesada para comer ahí todos los días. Es rico el restaurante y famoso, pero comer ahí diario es pesado. Llegué muy enferma del estómago y unas amigas tuvieron que salir de urgencia q clínica también. La habitación daba a un lugar muy incómodo que se inundaba y el baño se inundaba también lo arreglaron pero siento que el baño se moja demasiado El hotel no tiene playa y dice que si, sería bueno ajustar el tema para mayor claridad, toca salir a buscar la playa y es peligroso el camino. No hay prioridad en las sillas asoleadoras para el huésped, sino para quien llega al restaurante. Son pocas sillas para broncearse y aparte las dan a quien llega al restaurante. Siento que es una mezcla entre el hotel y el restaurante y el huésped queda sin prioridad.
