The Golf Hotel

Hotel was in a great location for walking the Fife costal path The staff were really attentive and friendly, we really enjoyed a lovely meal and great breakfast

The rooms were pretty basic, mattress wasn’t very comfortable We stayed in the pittenweem room, facilities were standard, our biggest complaint was the shower and lack of water pressure

Hotel ideally located on the main street and had a car park at the rear of the property. Friendly staff and locals and we enjoyed a real social time in the cosy front bar. Loads of atmosphere. Evening meal was very good. Bedroom very clean and ideal foir our purposes. Breakfast was excellent.

As an old property it's difficult to move freely, lots of stairs and corners to negotiate.

My partner's single bed sank in the middle. The light and fan in the toilet did not work. The toilet door could not be closed properly. The floors above creaked loudly. This was almost inevitable in a hotel with a bar but the noise from the bar was persistent until midnight.

Breakfast was lovely Staff were lovely ,especially the girl in the kitchen.

Only one light in the bedroom , no light in the bathroom. We had to put the light on above the sink .

Comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
