Homewood Suites by Hilton San Jose Airport-Silicon Valley

Since I was attending a conference, the location is pretty convenient. I could reach the convention center within a 10-minute car ride or 25-minute ride by the tram. The restaurants are also nearby to grab some food. Parking is also convenient.

Breakfast is pretty decent, but the variety can be better.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to meet all of our needs. There was a nice pool area with a warm bubbling Jacuzzi and barbecue areas around the pool. It was in walking distance to a Thai, Indian and Mediterranean restaurant. We did not get to try the Thai restaurant, but the Indian and Mediterranean were delicious. And Starbucks was right across the parking lot for us to venture to each morning if we did not have the hotels beautiful breakfast buffet. . Special thanks to Brie, Daniel, Drew, and Debbie, who went out of their way to meet our needs and make our stay comfortable. If we are ever in that area again, we most definitely will stay there.

My extended family and I stayed here for 9 days while a family member was in the hospital. I have never received such personal care from a chain hotel before. Each member of my family commented on how kind the front desk people were and how they went over and above what was expected. I had questions ahead of time and spoke with Brie and Kimberly on the phone who were very compassonate about our circumstances and very accommodating. Once there, I was welcomed by Debbie who made sure our rooms were close together and just what we needed. She suggested a few good placed to eat and also inquired about our family member when we stopped by again during our stay. Her knowledge of the local area was very helpful. Drew and Daniel were so helpful with our questions, helping us stock our freezers with ice, accommodating us with room cleaning requests. We booked this hotel for the large 2 bedroom, 2 bath with kitchen rooms, but we did not expect it to turn into a home away from home. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gym, the breakfasts, the Wednesday social snacks. There are some great places to eat in walking distance and the airport was easy to as were the freeways. My family and I are very grateful for hospitality we received from the entire staff, Thank you.

Worst customer service experience I’ve had at a Hilton property I have never shared a negative review online, but I feel obligated to share this so other guests don’t have the same experience. The property itself was not in acceptable condition. The hotel felt dirty, carpets were ripped up in areas, and the shower curtain in the room was torn and tattered. Overall it did not meet the basic cleanliness and maintenance standards I expect from a Hilton property. There was also an issue with hot water. We were told the water temperature was at “standard,” but it was far too cold to be considered reasonable for most guests. A warm shower should not be a luxury. The biggest issue, however, was the customer service. When concerns were brought to management, the response was dismissive, hostile, and unhelpful. Instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, we were met with excuses and a lack of care for the guest experience. At one point it genuinely felt like the message was: “We’re busy, take it or leave it.” I’ve stayed at many Hilton locations and have never felt treated this way. I truly hope leadership reviews what is happening at this location so this does not happen to another guest.

I’ll the property was perfect and it was nice and quiet over there and very clean . .

Only thing I didn’t like was the tv could be updated to smart tvs I wasn’t able to watch my Netflix but other than that it was fine
