Red Roof Inn Binghamton - Johnson City

It was an okay room and the bed was fairly comfortable.

Not very clean, no amenities (hair dryer, ironing board, in room coffee maker etc.). Generally shabby settings (furniture, bathroom, floor). Clientele was shady -- had a man wandering around the parking lot (most likely on something) talking menacingly to himself, a dog was barking in the room next door, in short sketchy people and a general sense of unease. Never felt personally threatened but also made sure my door and car was locked tight.

The hotel is conveniently located.My only negative comments was hoping that they were going to have some type of a continental buffet breakfast.

It was easy and convenient from the highway.

The facilities were rough. There were alot of broken things in our room and there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. Thw microwave had broken buttons. The coffee was ice xold T 8am and the clerk said “well come earlier!” Coffee service is 6am-12pm. The exhaust vent in the bathroom wasnt even hooked up.

Pleasantly surprised. Was much nicer than I thought it would be. Staff was very nice too. Room didn’t get cleaned and had to ask for more towels but that’s it. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Convince

We checked in around 8:00 pm and checked out around 6:00 am, there was no damage at all and I was charged a $75 fee the day after the stay and the next day I was charged another $75. I called multiple times I got hung up on 3 times and one time I was told the manager would contact me but they never did.

Very nice stay.
