Comfort Inn & Suites Corbin North

The smell, the rooms, the expired elevator, the food, the key cards never ever worked, the light bulbs were burnt out, the shower had zero water pressure, there was tons of mold in the showers, the pool looked disgusting, the weight room was sad, the recommendations for good restaurants was pizza in a gas station.

Friendly check in, made the whole process a breeze. As always, clean and comfortable.

Staff are nice. Hotel is clean and quiet. I appreciate having a clock in the room. BUT quality is not good. Room door doesn't fully lock without fighting with the door. TV remote is so worn out it doesn't always work to change channels. Trash bin in room had someone else's trash in it. Ice maker on the 2nd floor doesn't work. Front desk knew about it but there is no sign on the ice maker to communicate that or where to go to get ice without going to the front desk first.

I like the location of the hotel as it's close to everything and only 30 minutes from Cumberland Falls, but it backs up to run down motel that's literally right behind the comfort inn. There are a few shady looking people hanging out in the back area. The bed is not comfortable at all. Probably the worst sleep I've had ever. The key didnt work on day two and we had to habe that fixed to get in our room but annoying. When we had our arms full trying to get in the room.

The shower was dirty when I checked in and the lights in my room did not turn off. I checked in late and had to be up early so just dealt with it and slept with the lights on all night

I didn't like my ice pail in the trash can. Other than that, it was all good

Friendly and caring staff

I checked out in the middle of the night. Saw 2 roaches. The comforter had stains. The bathtub leaked into the whole room. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work. The wall beside my bed was just open, like a piece of the wall was literally gone. Just awful, and roaches are an absolutely not for me.

The property was good on a clean place to stay but it is near Interstate 75 and busy truck stops, very loud during the night. Room clean and breakfast sufficient. Take a white noise machine to help drown out the loud area, no fault of the property. It is a much needed hotel for the area and appreciate the overnight stay close to my parents home. Wish the front staf had been friendlier in my hometown, however she was prompt and effiecient.
