Residenza Matarazzo e Le Sue Soffitte

La residenza storica con i suoi appartamenti ben curati e distribuiti. La gentilezza della governante è fuori dai tempi.

Pulita, accessoriata, nuove stoviglie, tutto il necessario. Si vedeva il mare in lontananza.

Problemi con il parcheggio. Distanza dalla prima spiaggia. Terzo piano senza ascensore.

Amazing place, even better than in photos. Made us feel so privileged to be able to live in such historical building, right in the heart of Castellabate! The view was spectacular from every corner, the terrace where we had dinner felt so private, the café downstairs so peaceful and authentic, the centre of the town is just about 5mins walking through narrow lanes and steps, absolutely beautiful..

Parking nearby wasn't always easy and often ended up parking quite far, also the city one way system makes it a bit difficult to drive around, but that's what you would expect from an historical town. The little kitchen inside the wardrobe was cute, but not 100% functional - the extractor wasn't working. These are all very minor things though, the experience was still exceptional.

Essendo la Resudenza un palazzo con travi al soffitto, la presenza di un tarlo è stata particolarmente fastidiosa.

Our whole stay was wonderful! Castellabate is such a beautiful, quaint town and the location of our stay could not have been better. Even in low season we got to enjoy all the beauty of castellabate and the surroundings. All the bars / restaurants were super hospitable and our host was there to answer any questions we had and gave brilliant advice and recommendations. Castellabate has left a wonderful imprint on our hearts and we would love to return!!
