Babylon Oslob Coast Guesthouse

We had such a lovely stay here! It’s a small hotel that feels like a home stay, very personal. The room was very comfortable, the best bed I’ve slept in in Phillipines so far. AC was cold. There were many English channels on the TV. The manager was so helpful in helping us arrange activities, and told us what “good prices” are for several of the activities to make sure we pay a fair price. Overall very satisfied!

Pricey for what it offers. Floors were yucky and seemed to have not been mopped for years. I wouldn’t even consider this hotel a 1-star. They will make you wait for less than average breakfast. Update: What is your wrong with what I said? I was trying to tell the truth, nothing mean. How about try to offer clean floors and don’t try to hide behind your “small guesthouse” title as your pricing competes to that of 3 and even 4-star hotel in Cebu city. Also don’t say “God Bless” because your hearts are dirtier than mine based on your reaction to my honest feedback, you can strive to be better and learn to take criticisms more positively. Hyp0cr!tes!

We spent four nights here to swim with the whale sharks (twice). The staff are exceptionally helpful. Our breakfasts were filling and our room was wonderful. Very comfortable large bed, pillow, sheets were all very inviting for good sleep. The A/C, Cable TV, and Fridge were all appreciated. Instant hot water for showers. The best location in a neighborhood and friendly people.

We originally intended to stay here for 2 days but ended up staying for 6 days because this hotel is so relaxing and the staff are super friendly. They will go above and beyond the call of duty to help with anything you need. The breakfast is perfect for me and they have a trustworthy laundry. They will help organise the visit to the whale sharks and it will be cheaper than most of the other places we saw. Bang for buck this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in and i can't recommend it enough. If i could give it 10 stars i would.

We stayed here for 2 days so we could go and see the whale shark and a trip to Sumilon Island. This lovely little hotel was really nice. Good AC and very friendly staff. It's just 1 minute walk to Oslob town center where you have stores and restaurants. The breakfast that was included was good :) They arranged transport to the whale shark watching and to the Sumilon island for a really great price compared to what you would have paid if you took the day trip from Cebu City / Mactan. I will stay at this place also next time im in Oslob :)

We stayed here for 1 night so that we could get up early the following morning to swim with Whalesharks. The room & bathroom were quite basic but the bed was comfy and the Aircon worked - what more could you want? When we checked in we were asked to pre-select what we wanted for breakfast. They serve breakfast from 04:30 so this was perfect for us as it meant we could fill our tummies before our trip. We went down for breakfast at 04:50 with the intention of leaving the hotel before 05:30 at the very latest. The service in the kitchen was very slow and most guests left without waiting for their food. Our driver arrived and they hadn't even started cooking our food so we said we would have to leave it too, but they were very insistent that we could have it to take away and it would take less than 10mins to cook. We waited for about 15mins and were given a box to take away. The food was actually very good, just a shame we had to eat it on the go rather than in the comfort of the restaurant with a hot cup of coffee. Overall, not a bad place to get your head down for a night.

very nice and new hotel.. nice beddings... nice hot and cold shower... beachfront...very nice breakfast.
