Go Hotel Østerport

Convenient location out of the busy city centre, right opposite the train station. Super easy trip from the airport. Easy walk into the main sights, or walk in via the parks. We had one of the quieter rooms, it’s worth spending the extra money to avoid the railway noise. The lounge area was spacious and welcome. I arrived hours before check-in time and was delighted to be given my room - made a difference after a 22 hour flight. Staff on the front desk always welcoming.

Nothing to dislike here. A good hotel if you’re not after something in the main tourist area.

Beliggenhet, nær togstasjon ,mat butikk og parker

Ikke kjøleskap på rommet. De serverte ikke middag på hotellet, veldig lite utvalg på frokosten og at vi fikk beskjed om at de hadde bestillt taxi til flyplassen, vi ventet en time så fikk vi beskjed at de ikke hadde bestillt taxi til oss allikevel! Endte med at vi selv bestillt taxi som kostet oss dobbelt så mye, Vi kom nesten for sent til flyplassen. Det skapte unødvendig stress for oss den dagen!

Fantastiskt god frukost. Sov gott även om tågen hördes. Bra läge med nära till tåg och tunnelbana.

It was cheap, comfortable and very close to major transport routes to many places of the city.

Facilities were a bit basic and it could get a bit noisy being so close to the trainline

Sehr gute Lage und Erreichbarkeit mit ÖPNV, somit gelangt man in alle Richtungen, auch mit dem Zug aus der Stadt nach Louisiana. Außerdem guter Startpunkt die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Die Lautstärke durch die Züge direkt vor dem Fenster. Es ist auch mit geschlossenen Fenstern sehr laut, die ganze Nacht. Wir haben zu dritt in einem Zimmer übernachtet und wollten etwas frische Luft haben, dadurch war es noch lauter. Da helfen auch keine Oropax. Für unseren Kurzaufenthalt von einem Wochenende war es okay, aber ich würde es nicht wiederholen.

The location

The rooms were directly on the railway line and had continues train traffic. The insulation is so minimal that the noise was overbearing. They supply earplugs so that one hopes to get a little bit of rest. The expense of this room with over €350 is not worth the Hotel. To then have a sign say( instead of do not disturb) “I am counting the trains” is not funny.
