Wish id have researched more before booking location in the middle of an industrial estate / housing estate quiet a walk to beach if atruggle with mobility same as the shops one on site hardly open and not stocked with nothing ( a morrisons near by tho ) also states wifi u have to pay for it quite expensive and signal not very good our caravan was closely situated behind a housing estate someone was blaring music till gone 11 so wasn't very relaxing at all

Lack of kitchen utensils for self catering

The staff has been great at every opportunity. Extremely welcoming and helpful. The sire itself is really good and has lots of potential if hygiene and rules are followed.

Our caravan was really basic, nowhere to hang anything to dry unless you put the heating on. Kitchen was poor and the oven was useless. The caravan wasn't clean when we arrived, the battery was also beeping loudly in the smoke detector so had to get those sorted. The shop on site is tiny and poorly stocked. The food was disgusting, except the chicken nuggets. I have seen staff pull out chopped lettuce from the cafe display to add to burgers, without gloves. Tables and seating areas around the park are disgusting, I haven't seen anyone clean them properly. Some people were also openly smoking weed next to the kids park. Everything was closed on the Sunday as it was father's day. The whole place was deserted, which was quite strange.

From the moment we arrived, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids had lots of fun, and we were impressed by the overall experience. The site itself was immaculate, well-maintained, and in a great location. However, we felt the entertainment was quite limited. The children’s entertainment and dance sessions were repetitive and not particularly engaging. Unfortunately, the entertainment staff appeared tired and lacked enthusiasm, which affected the atmosphere. Throughout our visit in Rhyl, we also found that some staff members seemed bored, grumpy, or uninterested, which was disappointing. Overall, we had a good holiday and the accommodation and park facilities were excellent, but improvements to the entertainment programme and staff engagement would make the experience even better

What we did not like about the property was the lack of basic essentials within the lodge. Items such as an air fryer for preparing quick meals for the children, bin bags for the dustbins, and basic toiletries like tissues should be provided. When we requested tissues at around 9pm for the children, we were told we would need to leave the lodge and purchase them ourselves from the convenience store, which was disappointing. The entertainment was also very underwhelming. The children’s entertainment and evening activities were repetitive and lacked energy. The entertainment staff appeared exhausted and disengaged, as though they were tired of performing the same routines every day. Apart from the swimming facilities, there was very little to keep families entertained, and there was a noticeable lack of activities and excitement around the park. In addition, most of the staff seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. While the swimming staff and warden were pleasant and helpful, the reception staff did not make us feel particularly welcome and often appeared grumpy or uninterested. Even when we handed in our keys at the end of our stay, the interaction felt very impersonal. We were simply told, “Okay, all done,” with no enquiry about our stay or farewell. Better customer service and more enthusiastic entertainment would greatly improve the overall guest experience
