The woman who checked us in was very nice

then we walked to our room - as soon as we turned on the light - a roach as sitting on the pillow to greet us. walked into the bathroom and bunch of baby roaches ran across the tub. The 2 bed covers had stains - the sheets had stains - the tub had pink stains - we decided it must've been hair dye - just to make ourselves feel better of the possibility of anything else it could be. The tiles were coming off the floor - and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling We checked out a day early and asked if we could get a refund just for the one night we did not stay- we were told to call after 9am -- we called and called and called allllllll day Thursday and no one answered - again no one was ever rude or anything like that to us - it's just we couldn't get ahold of anyone to discuss the probability -- they told us to reach out to booking.com - but the hotel canceled our booking because i had to use a different card at check in because my original card got stolen on 10/24 -- so no one will help us now- we have no idea who to call at this point. We just were hoping for some communication - we drove 10.5 hours from Philly to see my son graduate from the Army National Guard on 10/29 and 10/30 - we had to leave 10/30 to drive him to Virginia to FT Lee to his next assignment - that's why we had to leave a day early - just fyi -- our original inquiry to ask to check out a day early was around 6am on 10/30 so we gave ample notice

The rooms need to be torn or burnt down and rebuilt.

The smell in the room was bad, smelled of mold.

Hotel was unacceptable. We had no towels, wash clothes. There was a large hole in the bed mattress, mold was everywhere, no iron, no phone, no smoke detector, window had a crack in it, room smelled like smoke.
