Very well lit when coming in late at night to check in. I felt safe

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!! The pictures online are a COMPLETE BAIT AND SWITCH. We pulled into the parking lot, had noticed an employee smoking and taking the sheets/blanket and dragging it on the ground and into the back of a pick up truck let alone to see 2 employees outside a room with cleaning supplies SMOKING!!! The outside of the hotel was right out of a horror movie. Trust me, do not stay here. We walked in, informed the clerk behind the desk that this hotel was a total deception let alone to just hear there was a shooting and a assault that happened one week earlier a stone's throw away from the hotel, and this information was given by the clerk. We cancelled immediately and found an AWESOME hotel about 10 minutes away, new, Comfort Inn South Elkhart.

it was awful!

I didn"t like anything about it. It was filthy!I looked at 3 rooms before I found one that was ok. That one had no water so we had to move. I felt so dirty in that room. I should have looked at te clientelle and known it was not for me.
