Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room smelled of cleaning solution. The walls and windows were thin so I heard my neighbors as well as the traffic to the point where it kept me from falling asleep. There was no breakfast included. Considering all of that I certainly felt that I overpaid ($ 150.00). I usually would not have booked a room at this chain, but every other hotel in the area was so much more expensive and the Booking.com rating was decent - not sure why!

"Best value stay in Hicksville - very comfortable!"

It's an Econolodge so you don't expect luxury, but this was one of the most comfortable stays I've ever had at an American motel. Bedding was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me. Huge TV screen and was able to cast from my phone. Staff were lovely and friendly at checkin and checkout. Free coffee from the machine was surprisingly drinkable. Vending machines had a good variety of snacks and drinks - and even playing cards! Compared to other hotel options in the area, this is the best value I have experienced by far.

It was tricky to find the main entrance as it isn't where most of the parking is, and reception didn't hear the bell when I pressed it at the back door - I had to call Econolodge and get the automated voice to send me the local number. But once I was able to call, all was good!
