Northway Inn Queensbury - Lake George

I didn’t like anything about it it was dirty and smelly!!! I would never go there again!!!

I wasnt blown away or was wowed so hard my socks came off. That wasnt my expectation either. It was late night on a Saturday. I needed a room badly. They had 1 available. It was a great price and the room was nice. It wasnt the Ritz and it was far from the Trap. Perfect for what i needed. A shower and an overnight break from the road. If im ever in the area again. I will definitely be checking their availability.

The bed was made with what appeared to be clean bed linen and bathroom was clean. The floor was so nasty that you could not work on it barefooted. There was no elevator and the stairs looked as though they were still under construction. Only met one staff member and she was cordial. The walls were paper thin and noise from the other rooms would wake you before 4:00 AM.

People live at this hotel. There was a couple fighting below us cops were called. Not the best experience.

It is in rare cases that I leave a poor review, however, this place requires caution for future guests. It is unfortunate in every sense of the word: from rusted metal rack to oxidized tissue holster to spotty covers/chairs to the layer of dirt on headboard and blanket to used napkins & headbands around sleeping space. Not only is the place lacking in hygiene and cleanliness, the heater was not working in the middle of the winter and with no additional blankets available for use. Truly, I would love to insult the place, but I’m afraid I won’t do it as well as the realities that exists at Northway Inn Queensbury - Lake George.

Let me say that for a last minute place to crash and for the price, we were not expecting the Ritz. With that being said this was overall the dirtiest motel I have ever stayed in. At the door to the room it was obvious that someone put out hundreds of cigarettes on the door jam and had not been cleaned in a long time (see picture). Inside the room there were obvious cob webs (Also see photo), a first for me. The floor was so filthy you had to use shoes to walk around. Under the circumstances we can handle run down and outdated but we were not expecting to be so grossed out as well. Did I mention the giant obviously fresh stain on the comforter? Never, ever again, travelers beware.

Clean and just what I need for one night.

The room upstairs was loud as hell, the room had stains and burn holes on the chair/towels
