Mountain Home Lodge in Deer Park

The deer will come tapping on the window in the morning begging for senbei. It was super fun to feed them that way, so be sure you stock up on deer crackers before you go to bed.

Location peaceful once all the park visitors go home. Great access to hiking, temples and shrines. Great little kitchen, comfy bed.

There was a fold up bed and a “seen better days” sofa placed in an awkward position hiding a chipped wall corner. We rearranged them to make the space more functional.No tea towels provided for drying dishes.

This cosy little flat was perfect for our trip to Nara. It is located inside the park and we could see deer outside our window while we had our morning coffee. Would recommend!

住宿地方相对宽敞，设施全，除了厨房必备的设备，还准备了咖啡，盐，胡椒等烹饪原料，自己煮了好几顿面条。住宿在若草山脚下，有鹿光顾门口。

L’emplacement dans le parc de Nara, la proximité des sites à pieds, la gentillesse du personnel pour l’arrivée.

Le lit d’appoint pour la quatrième personne mériterait d’être changé

What an amazing place!! This little lodge was everything we hoped it’d be: cosy, practical, friendly. Being in the deer park is so cool, the deer really come to your doorstep! The temple in the woods is mystical and since you’re sleeping there you can visit it before the tourists arrive, which is fantastic. The little cafe offers a beautiful breakfast menu, which is great value for money. And they have really good coffee too ;) their sandwiches are worth a try as well. If you want to visit Nara and escape the crowds, this is the place for you! Note however, that the shops and restaurants in the area close when the tourists leave, so 6pm at the latest. But restaurants are open in the center nearby, a 2min walk from the inn.

There was a little leak in the bathroom sink..

Me gustó mucho lo cerca que pudimos estar de los ciervos, aunque teníamos que tener cuidado de que no se colaran dentro del apartamento mientras cocinábamos. Y la bañera era muy espaciosa.

No me gustó la limpieza, había bastante polvo y mi marido tuvo que comprarse unas pastillas para la alergia que le dió. Y además el apartamento está a pie de calle por lo que todo el mundo pasa delante de tu cristalera durante el día .
