"Clean but noisey"

"Clean Room - Wrecked Building"

The building is wrecked, but the room was clean. Housekeeping does a good job considering how tired and beat up the place is. There was a leak in the hallway ceiling outside my room that caused a puddle. It was there when I checked in and still there when I checked out. The room door has big gaps that allow light in and ac out. The ac was old, but adequate for March. Not so sure about July or August. Breakfast and coffee not available until 7am, so forget about it if you're getting an earlier start. There is a coffee maker in the room, but front desk said they no longer have the coffee for them. So, why leave them on the room?? Stay one night for a clean room if you dare. I'll probably spend a few dollars more for an upgrade the next time.

"No worries, it was as I expected"

It was fine about what to be expected. I was annoyed that there was no coffee in the room when I got up at 5 AM to have a cup of coffee and hit the road that was an oversight on the part of housekeeping.

"They need to close this location"

This place should be closed. We clearly were not getting our kicks on Route 66 at this place. We were traveling through as a family and if I could have afforded to walk away from my reservation I would have. I know it is Econo Lodge but it is in bad shape and does not represent what I've seen in other Econo Lodge's. Staff was rude at check in. Some type of liquid was dripping from the ceiling in the lower hallway in multiple places. Exterior doors never lock so seems like a safety issue on a major highway. Glue down LVP flooring was bubbled up and coming off the floor in the bathroom. The continental breakfast is a joke. Only one positive, the beds were comfortable.

"I was one really dissatisfied customer"

I stayed only 5 mins. Motel needs major repairs, broken closet mirror, hair on towels, dirty tub. The guy at the front had the audacity to blame me for all their faults with the business. The man was very rude, mean to be exact. He needs to be let go. I just wanted a nice place to relax for the night. He messed up my good mood. Customer service sucks.
