Quality Inn Dahlonega Near University

Very convenient to downtown. Even though it is on a state highway, sound was not a problem and my room was on the front. Very clean room! Very safe area if traveling alone, no worries. Breakfast is continental, various choices, I wanted that. (If you want a full hot bkfast there are several restaurants downtown very quick 5min drive away)

The property appeared to have been recently updated since everything was so clean. Carpet seemed brand new and the TV, internet and wifi very fast and reliable. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we first arrived and that continued throughout our 4 night stay. Location is a 5 minutes drive into the Dahlonega Square where the Gold Museum, shops and restaurants. We had no problem ringing parking. Our visit was in early May and midweek, so crowds were not an issue. Our room looked out across the back parking lot and there was no noise audible in the room at all. Good sleeping.

The breakfast room was on the small side and could be a a problem in high season. Food available was OK.

We could hear everything through the walls. People farting, slamming doors and toilet seats.
