Comfy beds, spacious room, matiching price.

Breakfast is literally just 2 pieces of bread and 1 spoon peanutbutter.

Clean and good area, felt comfortable there

No curtains on the bed

Staff were responsive, convenient location, great value for money

I wish the beds had shelves and hangers for placing stuff

Nice terrace to sit outside and very comfortable beds.

Nice staff and good terrace at the rooftop. Water refill and a poor breakfast (toast and jam).

Shower was dirty

Ok value for money - definitely book el Nido in advance as we went with this option as many places were already booked out. Initially, the rooms were clean. The bathroom is quite stuffy but not uncommon in Sri Lanka.

I understand hostels come with a fair share of disruption given you are sharing a room with people who you may not know but this one took the piss altogether - at 1am two British girls thundered into the room pissed drunk and one girl continuously threw up into the end of her bed! The acidic stench of vomit had me on the verge of vomiting. Upon advising they move to the bathroom, she continued to vomit and heave until 2.30am!! I reported it to the receptionist who hadn't a word of english so I messaged the manager - she tells me to tell the girl at the reception! I asked could me and my boyfriend be moved for the remainder of the night as we couldn't sleep with the smell of vomit in the room and the level of drunk rude behaviour. This was not meet and without any management help. We did end up going to sleep and we heard her vomit and heave into a bucket throughout the night. I will remark the next night was fine once the girls checked out. To top it all off - the following morning my shoes were stolen by this hungover British girl!!! We were made up our shoes on a rack by reception, I asked could I bring my shoes in and was told I was not allowed. So you can imagine my level of annoyance when I awoke to my shoes missing the following morning! I did get them back once I complained and the manager rang the girl directly but I had to wait in reception for 2hours after I wanted to leave!
