Prom Coast Apartments

It was relatively clean and had good kitchen facilities.

Upon arrival at 8.30pm the property was freezing cold, no radiators, or any form of storage heating and poor insulation for that time of the year. It was 6/7 degrees outside. Spoke to Judy on the phone in relation to heating and got a very poor reception. Was told to turn on wall fan in the kitchen (situated above the fridge) and electric blanket in the back bedroom. She proceeded to comment that we must be used to a warmer climate. We were offered no other form of heating in the premises. The bathroom was so cold that there was condensation dripping down the windows and we did not use the shower. It took a long time for the kitchen to warm up and after 2 hrs with the electric blanket on we went to use the bed, but pillows etc in the bedroom all felt damp. There was mould on the ceiling. The duvet and pillows for the pullout bed was also in a press in the bedroom but that too was damp and musty as was the mattress in the kitchen/living area. As it was so late we had no choice but to stay. All three of us (adults) used a rug and hot water bottles we had in the car and our coats to sleep under in the kitchen/living area. We left as early as possible the next morning.

Great accommodation, lovely, helpful staff. Looking forward to returning.

The property was located super close to the beach and had nice facilities available like bbq!

We struggled with a few aspects of the accommodation. The stove top was hard to operate and kept turning off during cooking. The sofa bed was hard to pull out with the rug location, and then when we moved the rug could not make the bed level. We made a bed on the sofa, not as a bed, in the end. The bathroom is off the main bedroom, so it is not an ideal configuration for adults on the sofa bed. Location still very far from the park, so we ended up not going in the end.
