Americas Best Value Inn - Decatur

Shots were fired outside of our room and when we told the manager about it , he insinuated we were lying. He claimed it was a quiet, busy night and he did not hear anything! Also told me I was the only guest to complain! Well yes I am going to complain when gun shots are being fired & I am concerned about mine and my husband's safety! My safety was not a concern at all with them! Horrible neighborhood! Will Not Ever stay here again & if you value your safety don't stay here!

This place is terrible. The bed, sheets, head of bed, walls were dirty and unsanitary. Mirror was broken. The environment is horrible. We had to ask for clean sheets and after receiving what was considered taken straight out of the dryer it was still discolored and dirty. It’s not a great place to lay your head. I wouldn’t even label it as an okay place either. I could go on but let the pictures speak for itself. You would have a better peace of mind sleeping in your car. We had to leave!

If you are thinking of booking at this location. DO NOT.

Property is very clean though very spartan. Desk lady friendly. Location where we needed to be. Comfortable room and bed, decent shower. That's about all.

Lobby closed "for Covid"? No breakfast. No coffee in room, and nowhere to walk to get any. No shampoo in bathroom. Never seen a motel without it. Area sketchy but we knew that when we booked it.

It was just som.where to lay your head at nothing was good about it they the that property is unpleasant but u have no choice if u don't have any where to go

It horrible nets in room waist of money

Didn't eat breakfast.

The bathroom nice. The overall room was bad. The paint on the ceiling was peeling off. There was no table with chair. No suitcase rack or hangers for clothes.
