Finca Agroturismo Sa Cova den Borino

Nice and quiet, well equipped small finca set apart from the rest. We especially liked our neighbours; 2 cute ponies. Nice there was a small pool for the kids to use. Simple place but good if you want a quiet place to stay away from tourists.

The awful drainage smell in the bathroom and the fact that water leaked out onto the bathroom floor when showering. The place will be very cold in winter as there is no heating but weather was good when we stayed but in the mornings you could feel the humid coldness Mallorca is know for.

It’s not only one room, it’s accommodation with private kitchen which is wonderful.

If you’re looking for a quaint stay…this isn’t it unless you have a pension for places that feel like a downgrade from your “mom’s basement”. Three of us stayed here. And quite frankly, the sleeping arrangements weren’t even an issue. It was the smell of what we believe to be mold as soon as you walk in, the eerie lack of light, the way we felt bamboozled by the photos, and the waterbugs we witnessed climb their way out of the shower drain. This place felt dirty from the moment you walked in. Don’t know how else to explain it. If we could’ve camped outside, that would have been the option we chose. Also, make sure you read the brochure thing when you walk in. Why? Because we were never told of a tax we had to pay of 13.20 euros, and trust me they will hound you for that 13 euros and change as if you didn’t pay half of the bill. And this wouldn’t have been an issue if they were cool with venmo, paypal, zelle, etc. But no. They wanted a full on bank transfer for essentially 13 bucks. If you’re also in this situation, we found that Remitly worked best. The fee is very minimal. Lastly–I hope you like dirt roads and that your car can handle a little off roading. If there was a way for us to have cancelled–we would’ve. We will not be coming back nor recommend that anyone else stay here.

Very laid back vibe but very attentive staff

Air conditioning tubes going through the windows, no washing machine or dishwasher. Shower flooded the bathroom floor every time. Our friends stayed in the apartment above for four, and that was beautiful.

Its a lovely concept, a shared farmhouse space, with communal bbq area and pool. Rooms are converted into quite stylish spaces and apartments. It is near some wonderful beaches, like El Trenc and Santanyi. Nothing is near though so be prepared to drive 15 minutes plus for a supermarket. Rural and peaceful and beautifully quaint though.

Our apartment was tiny, more of a studio than a one bed. We are a family of 4 with two teens, and the kids were meant to sleep on a tiny shared sofa in the kitchenette. The beds were really uncomfortable, the shower was tiny with a pull across door, no privacy at all. The kitchen was far too small to self cater. We left a day early. The pool is much smaller than in the photos, and there are only 4 loungers for a large shared house. The kids playground is old and broken.
