Rodeway Inn Greenwood

I liked the location. There was many different choices for food but not for shopping.

The hotel was run down. There were roaches crawling on furniture and the floor. Upkeep was awful. The hotel didn't look anything like the photos of the property on booking.com. very disappointed that we left a day earlier and no refund was given. We took a loss.

No breakfast.

No pool available. But that's ok, many thunderstorms!

Friendly manager and staff.

Received a message one day before arrival that the pool was closed and some services suspended “ due to Covid.” The pandemic is OVER and businesses need to get past using this excuse for cutbacks. It was too late thefor us to cancel without a penalty….sure would have been nice to cool off in a pool in the 90 degree summertime heat, and perhaps enjoy a coffee before heading out on the road the next day. A reminder to call the hotel prior to booking online to ensure the facilities and services are running as advertised!!

everything was like one would expect for a value property. staff was helpful and happy. the guests of many hotels/motels are becoming more of a problem. the properties are fine, its the guests that need remodeling. i can even imagine a few people that would hate reading this review. i would say to them, you need help from Jesus to see life from a correct and Godly view point. the bible teaches us christians to put the welfare of others above our own. also to people that hate Jesus, you will come easy or you will come hard, but you will come the bible way. someday we will all face God. im 59, as i look and talk with younger people i see a hate and denial of the one true and living God like never before in my lifetime. haters be warned! you are heading down a dark path. the path you are on will get harder and darker the longer you live. the bible says repent. which means turn around. you have a soul that will live on after life here on earth is over. your soul will either live forever with Jesus in heaven or suffer like you can't imagine, in what God has made and calls, hell. and, like heaven, its final and forever. no probation. no breaks. make sure you know who your dealing with. dont be a fool. to good christians who know Jesus as Savior, remember to tell the unsaved about the gospel also tell them of the goodness and severity of God. any one who reads this will admit that they probably have heard something like this before. its time for all of us to recognize who God is and that His Son, Jesus, is the only way to heaven. you must be born again. seek God and you will find Him. i guess my review was more like a sermon. but i do think of people and pray for them. May God bless you with the truth of God's word.

there were people outside my door all night. i could hear everything they said. they even were loud and awake at 3;30am [in the early morning]. this is getting more the case because people are more rude and inconsiderate than ever. some would say that loud noise after 11pm is normal, as they too are rude and inconsiderate and could care less that most people sleep at night and make noise in the daytime. i dont like to make any noise at all because i know there are other guests that are staying under the same roof. this long rant is in no way a reflection of the owners, managers, or staff of this property.

We walked in from a long car ride, and the owner was at the desk. He greeted us like he had known us for years and even called when we got to the room to make sure it met our expectations. Very friendly and kind.

The only thing we had a problem with was the plugs for the USB at the desk and the night stand. We just purchased a power strip for both. They were very loose and didn't hold a plug.

The ownerr is extremely nice and very responsive. The housekeeping staff are also very responsive and cheerful. I have no negative to report and the value for the very nice and new style room was well worth it
