Had a wonderful stay at Villa Durante!!!

The breakfast was excellent with lots of fruit, pastries, cereal and Teresa made us special Neapolitan eggs each day which were delicious. The location was within a 5 minute walk from Herculaneum and 15 minutes from the station. The historical villa was a unique place to stay which we thoroughly enjoyed and the locals were very friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have some more historical information on the villa written down for guests. The air conditioning was fantastic!

Some of the local restaurants were closed for the holiday season which was disappointing. The sockets in the hotel need adapters if you are from outside Italy but the Wi-Fi service was very good.

Breakfast was delivered to our room every morning which was very nice, the bed was comfortable, the WiFi didn’t work, it was about a 15 minute walk to the station which wasn’t too bad. We had issues with the bath leaking over the hotel room, it was quite a loud area at nighttime.

Clean comfortable stay in an elegantly decorated room with high ceilings and frescoed walls. Varied continental breakfast. Not far from Herculaneum. Very friendly staff. Would stay there again.

If you’re planning to visit Pompeii or Herculaneum, please consider this hotel. It’s absolutely stunning. We had the entire villa to ourselves for two nights and the hosts were very hospitable and the breakfast was very cool too. They come in serve it to you in your room. the location is very close to Herculaneum that you can walk to it.

What a great time we had. Teresa was a super host and the room was fantastic- huge double height space with murals on each wall. Lovely breakfast in the morning.
