The location for visiting Lookout Mountain is perfect. The view is great. The price is very affordable. The staff is friendly. There is a pool (we didn't use it, as it was quite literally a place to sleep for one night) they have a small breakfast offered, donuts and the like. Very small but a nice offering considering the price for a room. Lots of restaurants around for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Dated rooms, a general musty odor. A broken tile on the bathroom baseboard (not a big deal, but just doesn't look nice) the kicker was a literal piece of tissue stuck in the peephole. I actually had to laugh about that. Again, not a big deal but it just looks tacky. For the price, I wasn't expecting anything fancy obviously but a few minor fixes would go a long way.

So nice and updated! The staff is exceptional. Thank you so much!

The lady that checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions about the area. If I lived close I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again JUST because of her.
