SpringHill Suites Madison

I liked the convenience to restaurants and shopping. General location is lovely. Clean rooms and facility.

Staff at desk was friendly but not as though “so glad you’re here” friendly.

Overall it's a pretty decent hotel. As is typical with the brand they are very overpriced though, particularly the studio suites. The larger suites are more spacious, but even they're probably $20-30 more expensive than they need to be. Would be understandable if they were the only game in town, but if you're willing to drive another 5 minutes or so you can find comparable quality at a much better value. If the location of the hotel is preferred -it's kind of falls at the edge of what could be considered downtown Madison- or you just really like this chain then it's probably going to be fine, since you're used to overpaying. Otherwise look elsewhere first before deciding to stay here. Again, it's not bad, not at all. You can just find better value nearby. And to clarify, when I say value I don't just mean cheaper. I mean finding a better price while not having to really sacrifice on quality.
