The Cabin Hotel

I enjoyed my stay here. The manager was very responsive and communicated well. I love how close it is to the airport. They provided me with complimentary transportation to the airport when I checked out. I’d be staying here again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Cabin Hotel. The room was nice and clean. All the staff is friendly and very attentive, from the front desk to housekeeping. Special shout out to Lizabeth, she kept our room spotless the whole week. The restaurant has good food as well.

This hotel and its staff are truly exceptional—it feels like a home away from home. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities, including the pool and the onsite restaurant. The rooms are modern, spacious, and comfortable. The housekeeping team and front desk staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean. Special thanks to Elizabeth, who was extremely helpful, making sure that all concerns were addressed and kept my room clean and fresh all times. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, shopping centers/malls, and restaurants. I will definitely return to the Cabin Hotel on my next trip to Accra.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff

I recently stayed at The Cabin Hotel and had a mixed experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made me feel valued as a guest. The location is also a plus, conveniently situated near the airport, malls, and various restaurants. However, several areas need significant improvement. The air conditioning was a major issue. Despite setting it to 16 degrees, it felt like 24 degrees Celsius, which is challenging in a hot country like Ghana. More concerning was the lack of AC or fans in the lobby and common areas, making them extremely uncomfortable, especially given the high temperatures. Another significant problem was the running water. At one point, the water stopped while I was in the shower, covered in soap. It took about 10-15 minutes for the water to come back, possibly due to a power outage and the generator not supporting the water supply. The hotel also charges a fee of USD 20 for airport transfers on departure flights. I recommend that future guests consider using Uber or Bolt instead, as their fares typically range from $2 to $5. Overall, while the staff and location were great, the issues with air conditioning and running water made my stay less than memorable. These key areas need attention to ensure a more comfortable experience for future guests.

A friendly, first-class environment marked by an outstanding management and staff in an upscale neighborhood a stone's throw from Katoka International Airport. Accoutrements include a pool, gym, good food and habitual sunny Ghanaian weather! What more could a savvy traveler ask for.
