Villa Antiche Mura

The room was comfortable and it was quiet.

When I arrived there was no-one to be seen and no instructions what to do. Some workmen rang the owner and took my bags to my room. When I got back from dinner, the outside door was locked and I had to knock to be let in. That was the first time I was able to officially check in.

The room was clean, we were not able to figure out how to use hot water, no instructions and no one to ask. Internet is very poor, working only on the 1 st flr not at all in our room on thr second, we spent hours standing in cold dark lobby to get reception for checking in for our flights and planning the road Parking is also a problem around that place.

Loved this hotel it was like living in a real old Italian house - high ceilings - old antique furniture (not the beds they were modern) car parking underneath the house must be one of the most secure in Italy - really recommend staying here to anyone on a road trip to Italy as it was not far from Florence or Sienna both of which we visited
