Econo Lodge Springfield I-44

It was horrible

There was a bed bug looking thing I even took video of it and wanted a different room but they wouldn't allow me to so I had to completely leave and go to another hotel.

Great location. The breakfast was ok.

Room needs some TLC. Walls need some patchwork & the bathroom needs to be patched up & repainted. Bathtub did not drain well. Water would be shin deep by the time you took a quick shower.

The rooms are actually comfortable and a good value, if you get a clean one.

When I turned the sheets down to get into bed on thy first night, there were long black, men's body hair and dried jizz streaks. The gentleman in the office that night was amazing. He brought me clean sheets, that i changed myself, was very apologetic. All was fine, until 2 days later when I get back from work and my room was cleaned out. I genuinely thought I had another day paid. Again, fine, until my $100 flip 6 speaker and the silver butterfly ring my youngest daughter bought me was not in my stuff. I called, the manager, she acted really upset that I would suggest her employees stole lsomething. Talking about praying for ME and that I need Jesus. Ma'am, I'm not the damn thief!! What do you call it when my stuff is gone and YOUR employees were the only ones in there. And yes, I will be calling corporate. I was there because I left an abusive partner.

Nothing to mention of a 100$ holding fee until you get there
