First my room key didn’t work so they opened it with a physical key . He gave me another key that didn’t work so I had to go to the office to get him to let me in my room again . A roach crawled on me while I was in the bed. I tried to kill him but he got away. At six in the morning a bigger roach crawled on me while I was in the bed. I videoed the roach and killed him . When i told management about it they apologized I asked them for a refund and he stated he had to wait for the owner to come in. When I spoke with the manager he told me that people bring roaches in the try to get a room for free . I showed him my Benz 400 E that I paid cash for and informed him I have no idea where to find a roach to bring in his hotel and the first time I’ve seen one in years let alone 2 was at his hotel. The owner told me he refunded my card 20% so I spent my money and the next night at another hotel.

The front desk staff and cleaning crew were very nice and professional they were the one positive of our stay! The front desk lady moved us into another room when our first room which was supposed to be a non smoking room smelled like marujana. The cleaning staff made our bed and replaced our towels and left our personal belongings where we had them. They seemed to be very good workers.

Our first room smelt so strongly of marijuana that we had to request another room. We specifically requested a non smoking room but we assume someone booked a non smoking room and smoked in it before us. The next room smelt of cigarette smokes but not near as bed as the previous room so we decided just not to mention the inconvenience to the staff. The rooms are outdated and could benefit from new paint, ceilings, carpet, and comforters. Overall disappointed in the stay and wish either quality would’ve been higher or the price per night would’ve been lower to reflect the poor quality rooms.

The only thing I liked about my stay was the room was clean. My bed was comfy.

I cut my stay short by one day because of the rudeness of the employees and their boss. I paid through their booking and had proof that the money was already taken from my account. The lady that registered me in to the hotel was not friendly in the least. She took my name down then I had to spell it three times and phonetically as well. This is after she read my driver's license. Then she tried to run my debit card. I told her no please don't do that as I have proof it's paid for already. I showed her. She gave me my key. I get a phone call saying that she ran my debit card and it refused it. I explained very politely that I showed her where it was out of my account. I finally get back to my hotel. I get a knock on my door the next night after another phone call from the same woman saying she's trying to run my card again and it's been refused again. I again say, I paid for it. You really need to take it up with your people who took my money. At 1030 at night, I get a knock on my door. Its another employee, he's demanding that I leave immediately!!!! I am angry now. I firmly tell him that I am not going anywhere. I showed him where I paid. He took a screenshot of it. Then sent it to his boss. The following morning, I'm packing up my room to leave a day early because of all the harassment. The owner comes to me and demands payment. My traveling friend says he will talk to the manager. He does. The original woman put my name into the computer system as POLE NOT POOLE. I didn't get an apology for all the harassment. I thought in the South people were friendly. I will never visit another Quality Inn ever again.
