The Katherine Hollie House is an outstanding bed and breakfast. The hospitality is very warm and caring and Keri and Pete make their guests feel very welcome. I stayed in the Americana and the bed was outstanding. The morning breakfast is wonderful and Keri gets to know the guest and if they have any food allergies. The B and B is in between Madison and Milwaukee in a small town with nice shops and things to do. I would return again with no problem whatsoever. Thank you Keri and Pete for the outstanding stay.

Keri and Pete go above and beyond to insure your stay in their property is exceptional! Pete made a wonderful breakfast in the morning for all the guests. It felt like home!

A gorgeous Victorian house that has been beautifully restored. The staircase is a work of art. Our room was very large and well appointed and the en-suite bath was spotless, with every toiletry you could want stocked. The bed was a cloud and we slept like stones. The hosts were engaged and warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. They clearly enjoy people. The breakfast supplied was gourmet quality and may require a nap afterward. It does front a busy street so there was some traffic noise, but nothing a pair of ear plugs won't conquer. By 10pm it was dead quiet. If you find yourself in the area and are looking for a great place for a night or two, this home should be at the top of your list. We are thrilled with our experience.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Katherine Holle House for seven nights for our Grandsons HS Graduation and family reunion with our Son and his Girlfriend. Prior to the booking, I researched the local Hotels and found that this B&B provided more amenities, space, and the intimate setting I was looking for. This beautiful colorful house with its wrap around front porch and high gables welcomes you as you drive up. It’s like stepping back in time as you enter the Foyer. The owners Keri and Pete have lovingly restored her to her luster of yesteryear, leaving much of her history intact. They’ve managed to blend the old with the new and each room tells a story. The themed bedrooms are uniquely decorated, it’s meticulously clean and the beds are luxurious and comfortable You’re guaranteed a good nights sleep. Our party stayed in 3 of the 4 rooms all on the second floor. This allowed us to leave our doors open and go from room to room to visit. There is also a coffee/tea bar, mini fridge with beverages and snacks for guests to enjoy while sitting in the Alcove. Each morning you awake to the amazing aroma of coffee and a complimentary gourmet breakfast served in the lovely dining room. From homemade muffins, banana bread, parfaits with fresh fruits/granola, eggs, bacon, potatoes, French toast and waffle bar and homemade jams. Keri and Pete love to share their story of how they came to purchase this beautiful home. It’s truly a labor of love, which is reflected in everything they do. They took us on a tour of the local area, to include a friends home, called Wisteria Castle, which is an actual Castle that the owners have restored. Pete also has a love for old cars, he took me for a ride in his fully restored MG. This was such a treat. I also have to mention Maggie their beautiful Chesapeake Golden Retriever, she’s very friendly, and will greet you at the door. She’s a joy to be around. We visited several local places; Mullins, Zweigs, Pizza Ranch, Tasty Treats Bakery, Jimmy John’s Subs, Kramer’s Wisconsin Cheese Shop and Vogue Dry Cleaners to name a few. These businesses were conveniently located, provided great service and had delicious food. During the evening, relax in a rocking chair on the front porch and unwind, you will most likely be offered a snack of brownies or a scrumptious treat. Keri & Pete go out of their way to guarantee that you have a unique experience. We highly recommend this B&B for a weekend getaway, business, family reunion, or extended stay, you will not be disappointed. We showed up as Keri and Pete’s guests, but we left feeling like family. What a beautiful place! My daughter and I were there for a quick stay but such a big impression was made in that short time! I can't wait to return and spend more time! Keri, Pete, and Maggie were wonderful hosts! Breakfast was so good! I highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

We truly enjoyed our one night stay. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. when AC was not working they moved us to a different room which was way more of a room then then we ever expected. We would for sure plan to stay again when we go to visit our grandson in Lake Mills.
