The Katherine Holle House

We just spent an amazing weekend at the Katherine Holle house, and I can't say enough about our experience! I've been to about a dozen B&B's across Wisconsin, and this was by far my favorite :) The house itself was beautiful, so much attention to detail in the furniture and décor. And the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a B&B....delicious and huge portions. Pete had a waffle bar for us Sunday morning! Keri and Pete were the most gracious hosts, so kind and accommodating, and they had so many interesting stories to share. We loved getting to know them, it made the experience so special. Lots of fun things to do in the area too....great restaurants, shopping, and the Octagon house was a treat. We will definitely be going back, hopefully soon!

My husband and I stayed here in the honeymoon suite for our wedding night (at a barn in the area). They accommodated our needs of having to check in early before our ceremony and coming in late around 1:30 am. We loved loved loved the place and our only regret is we didn’t get to stay longer. The beds were so cozy, the room was so elegant, the place is beautiful, Maggie the dog is the best greeter, and breakfast was spectacular. Sitting at the table with my maid of honor, Pete, and Keri, it felt like having a family breakfast. They have great stories and have no problem keeping the conversation flowing. Did I mention the food was amazing? Cause Pete you are a magic man with food! All of the rooms are equipped with their own bathroom so you don’t have to share. Ours even had this super awesome claw foot tub with jets and lights in it, and bath bombs included! They even saved the day giving us a complementary tooth brush so my husband who forgot his didn’t have stinky breath for our brunch ;)

Spent a wonderful anniversary weekend with amazing hosts that welcomed us into their home with open arms. The breakfasts were delicious with a beautiful presentation - you certainly would never leave hungry! Our room was well appointed with cozy bedding and special touches throughout. If you are passing thru Watertown or here to enjoy its charm, this Bed and Breakfast is an amazing find.

Sitting in rockers on the front porch was a delightful way to relax before heading in to bed. We basked in the small town atmosphere, sleeping soundly in a comfortable room called The Study. Breakfasts were delicious, the hosts truly enjoy creating meals for their guests. We met interesting guests and loved the interaction with the group. We highly recommend this B&B!

This bed and breakfast is BEAUTIFUL. Yes, they are still renovating, but every one of the guest spaces I saw were warm, welcoming, and beautiful. Keri was a fantastic host; she and Maggie the dog made an already delightful stay even more delightful. We were here only for a night to attend a wedding nearby, but we have plans to return. We stayed in the study suite, and it was perfect for the two bookworm nerds we were. Breakfast was fantastic, and they had no problems accommodating for my gluten intolerance. Overall, would recommend anyone that finds themself in Watertown.

Absolutely wonderful place. Beautiful house that is continuing renovations. Rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Beds are comfy and so are the robes. Pete and Keri are amazing hosts and super friendly. The breakfasts are some of the best you'll have anywhere. Be sure to try the mixed berry and bourbon preserves. Maggie the dog is so sweet and will greet you every time you come in the door. Makes sure to ask to see her trick. The Honeymoon Suite has a huge bathroom and an amazing garden tub with hot air jets. Great destination for a relaxing stay. 10/10 would recommend.

This old Victorian house is being restored to the current BandB and the owners are doing a great job. The owners are very warm and welcoming and our stay was excellent!

First time staying at a B&B, we loved it! Pat & Keri were awesome hosts! They showed us around their beautiful historic Victorian and took the time to share a little history/background on the place. We had the honeymoon suite, which has this wonderful claw tube that actually fit both me & my husband (he’s a bigger guy). One of the unique features was it had a Chromology button, which is a link between colors and calming effects on the mind (look it up!) we enjoyed that tub every night! Also, Keri cooked a large breakfast every morning and took the time to chat us up. We felt very welcomed! I would stay here over a hotel any day!

We stayed here on the nights of March 19th and 20th. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite (even though it was not our honeymoon). Keri and Maggie the dog greeted us upon our arrival. We were given a tour, asked about or breakfast practice, given some tips on where to eat and were left to get settle. The room is very nice with a large bathroom that included and shower and a separate bathtub/whirlpool. The room came with all the amenities you could want. Everything was top notch. A coffee & tea station is in the main hall about ten feet away. Also there is a mini fridge with beer, wine and soft drinks. The room was quite and the bed quite comfortable so we both had 2 good nights of sleeping. The shower has plenty of hot water and good pressure. The provided products are quite nice. We also tried out the tub and its whirlpool. It was nice and relaxing. Both breakfasts were wonderful. Everything was well presented, well prepared and delicious. Seconds are available. Keri and Pete are great to talk to, being very friendly and approachable. You also have Maggie the dog is is a cutie. A great two night stay with two great innkeepers. Cheryl and I give this our highest recommendation and look forward to staying here again.

House is still being refurbished but the rooms are all done as is the dining area and sitting room. Really cool place. Very tastefully done and the breakfast is awesome! Kerri and Pete will bend over backwards to make your stay a good one. definitely would stay here again and the people of Watertown are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
