I had an extremely upsetting experience at this hotel. I was only on the property for about an hour, yet I experienced harassment from staff and was later charged for things I did not authorize, which I consider fraudulent. Not even an hour into our stay, staff falsely claimed that the fire alarms were going off because of us. We were also accused of smoking in the room, despite the fact that there are security cameras that could confirm my partner smoked outside, not inside the property. They escalated the situation by calling the police on us without justification and refused to refund my payment. After we left, they even attempted to withdraw an additional charge from my bank account without authorization. When I called the hotel to resolve the issue, the staff were unprofessional and hung up on me. Most concerning was the way I was spoken to and treated, which I believe was influenced by bias. No guest should ever feel disrespected or discriminated against while traveling. I’ve reported the incident to the hotel management and relevant authorities, but I want to share this to warn other travelers. I hope the hotel takes responsibility and implements better training and oversight to ensure all guests are treated with respect and honesty.
