Generic hotel so facilities were adequate, and a good location with a balcony.

Immediate smell in room, and a couple of other minor problems. When I spoke with staff, the minor problems were sorted immediately so full marks for that. My issue with the hotel was that I was told by reception the smell problem was fixed. It was not, and spraying air freshener in a room isn't going to fix the smell of a poorly drawing bathroom and effluent. I had asked to change rooms, this was never acknowledged. We ended up leaving 5 days early, and went elsewhere. Management said later they will discuss this with staff. But who knows?

Pros: The room was decent and clean. Breakfast was good. Hotel lobby was very nicez Cons: The hotel staff did not restock my toilet paper so I had to go buy a roll outside. The pool area was being renovated (no access to the pool). The carpet in the hallway was very dirty and dim. There is a school next door so the bell goes off at 6am. Overall the hotel is 3/5 for the price you pay.
