Upon arrival to the room after checking in we found all very filthy, dead roaches in the bathroom, black scum build up in the tub, horrible smell coming out of the fridge. We were’t expecting any luxuries, only a decent and clean place to stay while on Ridgeland on a family visit. We could not stay there so decided to return the room. At the front desk they said we needed to do it on Booking as their policies states that to get refunds it needs to be cancelled 48 h prior reservation, however by then I could not have checked the room conditions, as hadn’t arrived yet! I trusted the pics which are not really what the place is. So neither booking nor the Oyo Hotel team helped me to process the refund. Awful experience! never again an Oyo, next time on a small town will go personally to check room before booking o line, never again will trust pics on the app
