Red Roof Inn Lenoir

I booked here because it was the only hotel in the area that was pet friendly and honestly I was worried because red roofs typically are run down and dirty. However to my surprise the room was newly remodeled and quite clean. The outside needs some work which they are doing now but the room its self was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I’d stay here again.

The room was comfortable and clean. It was quiet and on the ground floor.

The housekeeper woke us up and entered the room at 8 a.m., which was 3 hours before checkout.

Refrigerator in room was very loud. The rod to close the curtain was broke. The toilet set was broke. Room 102

Our room reaked of cigarettes, staff working outside of our room were very noisy. No traction or mat of any kind in the tub which was very slippery. None of the ice machines worked. Front desk guy was very friendly and helpful.

Just old, room needed ceiling repair, coffee pot was inoperable, TV was old and obsolete.

Smoked up rooms even though they were ordered as and specified in the room as non smoking. Construction going on. Very questionable neighboorhood and NOT worth the price. Referigerator was dirty abd smelled of alcohol.

The owner was polite and was helpful with our situation

unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected. When I booked room I booked a disability room, but was told at front desk that it only showed I needed a room on ground floor. I did go back to office later and showed manager and he did refund me a night because of mix up.Some of the other people staying there were loud at night outside talking and there seemed to be some shady business going on at times. Wouldn't hurt for law to patrol lot. I'm glad I didn't have any young children with me because on several occasions we saw lady's walking up to rooms with barely any clothes on. top & bottom barely covered there stuff. I understand that the are remodeling but if rooms aren't up to standard then they should not be rented. The seal around toilet leaked water in the floor and had to ask for a smoke detector to be put up where wires was sticking out, which they did do but not once did a light Blick on or off so it wasn't working. I was told that check in was at 3pm because room hadn't been cleaned yet ,I was ok with that until I got in room and ended up sweeping the room because of dirt and tissue paper and the baseboards are so dirty it wouldn't sweep off. plus there was some pretty foul language written on back of door with sharpy... With that being said the owner was very understanding when we checked out early and did give me a refund.
