Taroko Dan Aigle

The room was clean, comfortable and has a good size for our needs. the location was good to access taroko gorge as we were spreading out our excursions there over a couple of days.

The towels were tiny and not very useful ( we need 2-3 to wipe an adult body). the property description stated that there’s a garden but none was to be seen or was told to us that we can use. the host was aloof and not very accessible for queries. the breakfast was sent to us in a plastic box and paper/plastic wrappers, no plates or cutlery, to be eaten in our rooms. the photos about the property seem to give the impression that we can eat at the common room on the ground floor instead of being confined to our rooms. if that is not applicable anymore, perhaps those photos should be removed.

Nice convenient location for Taroko Gorge and Hualien. Room was spacious, shower was nice and hot.

Breakfast choices have been downscaled due to covid.

This was a perfect jumping off point for visiting the Taroko Gorge, especially if you have a car or a driver arranged. The rooms are cozy, clean, and beautiful. The host is extremely helpful and friendly. The pottery shop in the arrival area has many beautiful pieces made by the owner’s daughter. The only drawbacks are the stay is a long walk from the station and the closest dining options are 20 to 30 minutes away if walking. If you have a car, it won’t be a problem.

Room was basic, bathroom could be improved. Property was very difficult to find. Spend half an hour to locate. Poor value for money.

Spacious, clean and very comfortable accommodation. So peaceful looking out to fields, and very close to Taroko Gorge - perfect if you have a car. The owner was lovely. The shop downstairs has beautiful pottery made by her daughter.
