Chalet Castillo

The place is beautiful, calm and nice. The beds are comfortable and the amenities good. The staff is very kind and helpful. We needed to connect my grandma's insulin cooler to a power source, but there was no electricity in the hotel. The receptionist helped me by turning on a power generator, and provided an extension to our room so we could plug in the cooler.

It was difficult to find this location as you can only access it from 1 way if you are not traveling in a 4x4. The night we stayed, there was a blackout in the town, so we had no air conditioning and the temperature was high! You need a Guat phone number if you want to call a delivery, or a tourism agency, because the hotel doesn't have a phone line.

a lot of noise of other guests (party) as we remember around 2am, that was the worst part of the trip.

It is right on the lake. The view from my window was unsurpassable.

Worst hotel ive ever been to. They cannot find my booking when inarrive and only accept cash. Very outdated room and dirty. Will never stay at this place ever again.
