Lovely old inn in the countryside.

Good staff. Bed to small.

A hidden gem. Worth the effort to get there and the dramatic journey on the way back to Dorchester. Food fantastic. Staff lovely. Strongly recommend.

Lovely stay food was excellent. Bar hours a little restrictive and the location although lovely the lanes were a bit intimidating if you don’t know the area.

Tracy was really welcoming and lovely throughout our stay, breakfast was delicious too. Great stay if you're in the area!

This was a wonderful property which friendly staff. The bar is shut in the afternoon and reopens at 6PM. The food is of a high standard and the breakfast was fantastic. If you near Bridport and you need somewhere to stay this is a must.

It is a lovely quiet place to stay, food is excellent, all the staff are very pleased and professionally,room wasvery clean and tidy, will go again. Most Enjoyable stay,THANK YOU

We stayed at the marquis for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. We had a lovely stay everyone was really friendly and helpful. The room was really nice with a comfortable bed and great view, and a tasty breakfast was included the next day. We would highly recommend staying if you're in the area, the location is fantastic and though we were only there for a short visit we hope to come back some day to spend some more time exploring the area!

The M of L is situated in an tranquil location well off the beaten track. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was fresh, beautifully presented and very reasonbly priced. Would definately stay again if the opportunity arose!
