The building is beautiful and dripping with all the character and atmosphere you would want from a historic hotel. It's decorated with gorgeous vintage items. It is a quiet hotel. The shower is nice and strong. The view onto the Plaza is lovely. Parking right in front of the hotel is great.

The hotel itself needs TLC. Heating was quirky. The pillows were terrible. There was a vague lack of attention to detail in small things - the hand soap dispenser was empty, and the toilet paper placement in the bathroom was weird and impractical. The bedding smelled like wood smoke, and the furniture was really dusty.
