Hampton Inn Uniontown

Stay was okay. We had to check out one day early on a three night trip and hotel would not give us a refund for one night. We feel it is very bad customer service.

Well done. Excellent customer service, clean and safe. Great staff, front desk was excellent. Heather was stellar, would highly recommend.

Pool tooooooo cold

We were visiting in the area to connect with family and friends. Hampton Inns don't usually disappoint us, and this one was fine for for the one night with a king bed that we had on the second floor. I only had one issue with the hotel, and I mentioned it to the front desk staff. That was that the flat sheet of the bed was mostly threadbare and see-through, and that was quite shocking to me, since I had never encountered such a thing in a Hampton Inn before. I realize that maids have to work on a schedule to get things done, but they also need to inspect the bedding to make sure it is in the best condition possible for guests and not just strip beds and toss them into the laundry bin to be washed again. This particular sheet appeared to have needed to be retired quite some time ago. We used the hot tub, which had both jets and bubbles and the temperature of the tub was perfect--not too hot or too cool. The pool was too cold for us, so we didn't do more than stick our feet into it. Breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn breakfast with eggs, some type of sliced sausage pieces, fruit, cereal, milk, and pastries. The coffee was good. The location was great, with lots of restaurants, shopping opportunities, and Walmart.

We travel a lot across the eastern US staying in mid-range chain hotels like Hampton Inns. The Uniontown one was one of the best in the category we've ever stayed at. The staff were friendly and efficient, it was super clean, the breakfast was good, and the swimming pool was a real pool where you could swim actual laps. It was also quiet despite being on a main road. The location isn't particularly charming but not sure such a thing exists in Uniontown. The bbq restaurant next door is a good choice for dinner.
