The accomodation is very modern and recently renovated. The interior and decoration has been selected with care and the rooms have a view over open fields. Wonderful fresh country-side air and a great breakfast.

We ran into several issues with this accommodation and it felt like the owner was blaming the guest for everything, she was quite rude and unfriendly. This is a wellness hotel that demands that you stick to a strict schedule, which is quite unrelaxing (German timetable = before 18h....). The mattresses were thin and uncomfortable, the pillows and bedding was full of feathers (I'm allergic) - for his price I expect that there are both feather and synthetic pillows and bedding available. We ended up sleeping under thin blankets and using bathrobes as pillows. I recommend just booking a regular hotel and using the wellness facilities in one of the numerous thermal baths around Freiburg. After 20h there is no sauna or service available.

Great location and perfect service. Very quiet small town, nice walking routes. The breakfast was very tasty, and the evening meal at the restaurant was delicious, though a bit more expensive.
