"⭐ 5‑Star Feedback for Team Miri ⭐"

10.0

⭐ 5‑Star Feedback for Team Miri ⭐ I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the amazing team at Miri Restaurant — Elton, Ritik, and Pritul, along with the extended staff — for turning what was meant to be a casual afternoon lunch into a memorable sundowner experience. Their customer‑first approach, thoughtful recommendations, and understanding of our group’s preferences were truly exceptional. The curated spread of cuisine that seamlessly matched the evolving mood of the afternoon, the delightful in‑house bites, and the special cookies paired with evening drinks and tea/coffee added an extraordinary touch to our visit. A special compliment to the management team for nurturing such responsible, dedicated, and intuitive individuals who genuinely understand the pulse of the customer. This culture of attentiveness and warmth is what transforms a regular meal into a delightful, lasting experience. Kudos to the entire Miri team! We will definitely be returning — not just for the beautiful property, but for Miri and the incredible team culture you’ve built. Happy Customer - Gautam Saigal & Family

"Beautiful but not worth the money"

8.0

Overall our stay at St Regis was nice, but for the money we paid for 1 week I don't feel its worth it, especially as its not an all inclusive. Its half-board with no drinks included. The establishment looks pretty overall and is set on beautiful grounds but on closer inspection and stay it doesn't live up to its expectation. Location - Its beautiful for a quite stay away from the hustle and bustle. It's tranquil and low noise pollution. However, if you would like to get into town or north Goa it is a very long drive. They do not provide a shuttle bus or any amenity for you to be able to explore a day out. If you are looking to get away and stay within the hotel grounds its fine as there is nothing close by you can walk to. Cavelossim village is still a car journey away. Rooms - They are all of different levels. We went for the most basic room, which was really nice in size and glad we went for it as it had a balcony over looking the pond. Was nice to venture out in the morning as you wake up. Some nice bird life and water species to observe. The rooms could do with a little uplift for the money its costs per night. Also the rugs in the room need a wash or change over. Very dirty looking. On the first night we discovered our fan was making a constant noise and couldn't sleep, we let reception know and in the day someone did come and fix it. We were happy with that service. Cleanliness - The grounds were kept in good order with a team on people on it everyday. Was nice to see it kept well maintained. Generally the establishment was clean. Food In Buffet - The quality of food was excellent. Variety was brilliant also. It catered to a wide background of palettes and you would not be short of food any night. The lack of communications from the Restaurants was very poor. On our first night the buffet was closed as they did not have enough occupancy (most were wedding guests) so they decided it would be a la carte only, which didn't have even half the normal buffet options. If they had warned us earlier we would have planned to have a late lunch and forge dinner. Also throughout our stay there were small communications from the restaurant that never came through to guests. Too many small ones to list. Food in other paid Restaurants - We ate only at the beachside restaurant so cannot comment on the others. It was a nice atmosphere and location so we tended to sit out there before heading for dinner. Food there was nice, no different to the buffet. Mind you Chips and Calamari to over 45mins to arrive. Very simple dish but for some reason kitchen was very disorganised. Staff/Service - This was very hit and miss. Everyone was trying to be as pleasant as possible but the undertone to it was they were trying hard. Best staff personnel at the hotel is Nitu at the pool side. Excellent employee. He is efficient, friendly, sense of humour and impeccable conversational skills. Brilliant man. I would not let him go if I was St Regis. At the beach place, Susgeado Aneesh was very good. He dealt with a few issues with food and drink very efficiently. Overall the staff were pleasant but just not got a very good understanding of needs and commuicating. The restaurant staff were nice but if you ask for something they are not very clued on. Every table at breakfast was missing a teaspoon with the cup set....I mean for the whole week it was like this, does someone not pick up on this. The reception staff are nice but just feels like they are that on the face of it as I had seen them squabble amongst themselves many times. Facial expressions change and they get frantic in trying to get something done. Our most disheartening experience was the tour we did. We took the hotel car on the advertised package for day out in North Goa. The marketing material and package sheet gave us a cost. However upon checkout we noticed they had over charged us for it. On questioning they mentioned the tour calculates for doing 80km only at that cost and then you pay a per mile rate on top. That was never mentioned, advertised or spoken about at time of booking. And to make it worse just a straight trip to North goa and back is over 80km anyway so how can they advertise a trip based on this visiting sites as well. I had to battle it out as it was grossly unfair. I asked them to never send the documentation out again as its hugely misleading. After much arguing they reverted the price to as was advertised and I hope removed that cost sheet and amended it. If you are using their vehicles or doing a tour please be aware to confirm costs! Butler - To our surprise we were allocated a butler to our room who took take of simple needs and booking of anything etc. Was a nice bit of information to have, unfortunately the butler assigned to us was absolutely unfit for the job. Poor communications and lack of intuition. I felt bad for him yet annoyed as well. He could not fulfil basic English conversation so every time we needed something doing or sorting it was a chore, repeated convos at least over 3 times. On one occasion he could not understand we wanted to book a tour and he had to call a colleague from reception to speak with us as he had no clue. Looked like a nice chap but the role was above his level. He should be reposted to another role as he was totally unfit for the position. Just as a warning, drinks are very expensive at the hotel, is worth walking to one of the beach bars one evening and having a few beverages. The Beach - Its classed as one of the best in Goa, however I would not step into the sea. It looked polluted to levels I'm not comfortable with and the beach sand was poorly kept. We found tons of litter and glass as we walked up and down the beach. No one was spending time there to clean it. Very sad. The beach seating is ok but just didn't feel luxurious. If you are visiting in Oct-Feb be aware its high wedding season so lots of wedding guest take over. Nice to watch but then gets a little annoying. Also wedding parties tend to take over the pool area and are very noisy so makes a nice relaxing stay a little less relaxing. Don't miss going to the Fisherman's Wharf for a meal. The only walkable restaurant outside the ground. It has amazing food and some nights they have music. Overall St Regis is nice but I felt a little cheated by the photos, advertising and hype. Its no sanctuary, just a nice resort. I'm not sure I would stay there again.

"Great hospitality"

10.0

Today we went for lunch at Susegado, St. Regis. There were two dishes that we ordered & my child didn’t like, but one of the servers, Aditya, kindly offered a complimentary ice cream. This small gesture made my child very happy and truly made our experience special. Though it was a small act, it reflected the thoughtfulness and care of the Susegado team. Thank you so much for the lovely hospitality.

"An Unforgettable New Year at The St. Regis Goa"

10.0

We spent the last week of December 2025 at The St. Regis Goa Resort, and it turned out to be one of those stays that stays with you long after you’ve left. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless quiet luxury, genuine warmth, and a level of care that made us feel completely at home. New Year’s Eve was a standout. The celebration was beautifully done, elegant without being over the top, lively without feeling chaotic. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into every detail, and the evening flowed seamlessly. Credit goes to General Manager Gurnor Bindra and her team for creating an experience that felt special, joyful, and memorable in all the right ways. A big part of what made our stay so comfortable was our butler, Kuldeep Singh Rathore. Kuldeep didn’t just do his job well he genuinely looked after us. He anticipated what we might need, checked in at just the right moments, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. His warmth and professionalism made a real difference to our stay. We also had wonderful dining experiences, especially at MIRI. Rupli, the service supervisor, stood out for her attentiveness and calm, friendly presence. She made every meal feel relaxed and unrushed, and it was clear she takes great pride in making guests feel well cared for. What truly sets The St. Regis Goa apart is its people. The setting is beautiful, the property is refined, but it’s the team that elevates the experience. We’re deeply grateful for the memories created during our stay and look forward to returning again.

"Amazing experience!"

10.0

We (my husband, 14 month old daughter and I) stayed at St Regis over Christmas. Overall, it simply an amazing experience! The trip did start with some hiccups but the Regis Team more than made up for it by stellar hospitality and care. They took good care of us (specially, my daughter) and went out of their way to whip up food at short notice for her. Bottles were sterilised, a cot and bath tub was provided and the housekeeping was impeccable. Special thanks to Suraj (at Miri) for making our stay memorable and to Ahana for the most amazing ice-cream!

Visited with family and felt the hotel is better suited for guests who prefer minimal interaction. Service was poor and hospitality lacked warmth. Food was average at best and not worth the price. For family stays, there are much better options. Food: 6/10 Service & Hospitality: 1/10

Very underwhelming experience. No warmth, no attentiveness, and no sense of hospitality. Requests had to be repeated, and the overall service felt indifferent. With family, you expect care and engagement—this was missing completely. Food: 3/10 Service & Hospitality: 1/10

"Disappointing Experience Despite Booking via STARS Program"

2.0

We are currently staying at the resort with family and had booked through the STARS program, expecting the elevated treatment as the family is here for the first time in goa and wanted the experience to be good. Benefits were also clearly communicated at the time of booking. Unfortunately, the experience did not reflect that at all. The check-in process was completely standard, like any regular hotel. There was no acknowledgment of the STARS booking, no warm welcome, and no sense of personalized hospitality, something one expects from a luxury brand, especially when traveling with family. More concerning was that the hotel staff had no information about the USD 100 hotel credit. It became clear that unless a guest explicitly knows and asks for it, the benefit would not be mentioned or offered. This defeats the very purpose of the STARS program. Despite informed in advance when booking in advance, no personalized or customized amenities were provided at check-in. There was also no welcome note or interaction from hotel management, which is supposed to be part of the STARS experience. Food was another major letdown. Indian food was not up to the mark, and we faced issues with meals during the stay. Overall dining quality did not match expectations for a property of this level. Hospitality-wise, the experience felt cold and transactional. The property may work well for guests traveling alone who prefer minimal interaction and a quiet, private stay. However, for families, Taj properties are far superior, as they consistently go beyond basic service and focus on genuine warmth and customer satisfaction. That level of care was missing here. Ratings: Food: 4/10 Customer Service / Hospitality: 1/10 Ambience & Property: 9/10 STARS Program Experience: 1/10
