Super great staff!!

Do NOT book your event at Hotel Sabana Park — especially if you value organization, communication, or your sanity. We had friends and family stay at this hotel over a 4-day period in March 2024, and I cannot stress this enough: if you are planning any kind of group event here — wedding, business meeting, family reunion — turn around and run. Hotel Sabana Park might look appealing from the outside, and yes, the food and basic staff interactions were decent. But behind the scenes, this hotel is a logistical nightmare. The biggest issue is Mariana, the so-called “Commercial Director.” She was the only person we were allowed to deal with, and she was completely unprofessional. She routinely ignored emails, sent us incorrect pricing and information multiple times, and was either shockingly rude or completely MIA. Her quotes for group dinners and event spaces were wildly overpriced — think Manhattan rooftop rates in a Bogotá suburb. Nothing made sense, nothing was itemized clearly, and any time we asked for clarification, we were either brushed off or met with more errors. Reservations were lost. Bills were confusing. One section of the hotel had a leaking roof. And every time we asked to speak with someone else, we were told Mariana was our only option. There are plenty of beautiful, professional venues in the Bogotá area — this is not one of them. If you're simply staying a night and have no need to interact with management, you might be fine. But if you’re organizing anything that requires coordination, clear communication, or basic respect for your time and money, avoid Hotel Sabana Park at all costs.

We were so excited to host our wedding guests at Hotel Sabana Park during our wedding week. Our wedding was held at Hacienda Arkadia in Chía, and Hotel Sabana Park was the only hotel in the area that truly met our expectations. We really wanted our guests to leave Colombia with incredible memories of the city. However, we would never recommend this hotel again — what a horrible experience from the beginning. I must say, the executive manager, Mariana, was absolutely terrible. It was almost impossible to get a hold of her, and anything we requested took forever to be addressed. We wanted to provide a discount code for guests staying at the hotel, and it turned into a complete nightmare. They didn’t actually offer a real discount; instead, they inflated the prices for the wedding weekend — doubling the rates — even though the surrounding dates remained low. If you booked from a phone, the price was different than booking on a desktop, causing even more confusion. Requesting an extension for the discount code took forever, and Mariana was consistently unresponsive, rude, and even missed scheduled calls, showing a complete lack of consideration for our time. I rarely leave reviews, but in this case, I absolutely felt it was necessary. We also planned to host our welcome reception at the hotel, but they wanted to charge us over $7,000 and additional staffing fees simply because they had changed their restaurant hours last minute. It was a total disaster. While the hotel itself is nice and the general staff was very kind, the management is truly awful. Even after bringing nearly 100 guests to the hotel for our wedding, we couldn’t believe they didn’t even offer a simple bottle of wine or any kind of welcome gesture for our honeymoon night. Absolutely nothing — which was shocking, especially after seeing how wonderfully we were treated at other hotels during our honeymoon. After spending so much money with them, the lack of care and attention was extremely disappointing. I refuse to ever step foot in that hotel again or deal with their management. They clearly do not care about their customers. Go elsewhere — there are far better hotels in Bogotá that are worth the drive.

El servicio de parqueadero es pesimo. La talanquera no sirve ni a la entrada ni a la salida. A cierta hora no hay servicio de parqueadero en toda la noche, pero cuando llegan a pesar de que informan q no hay, cobran abusivamente tarifa de toda la noche. Parqueadero inseguro.

The staff is extremely rude. They release private confidential information to strangers. They hang up on you, they are not tentative at all. This place is awful DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY RELEASE YOUR CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION TO STRANGERS. DO NOT STAY HERE. BEWARE -5 out of 10 AWFUL

This place is really awful. The whole experience from nothing working in the rooms, no help from the staff, they dont even answer the phone. They are very aggressive and ruined the whole trip. The steal fees and release confidential information. DANGER, DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS VERY UNSAFE AND NON-CONFIDENTIAL
