Norfolk Waterside Marriott

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the entire Marriott family for accommodating me and extra night stay after my cruise sail date was put on hold account of the weather. You all were very nice and the rooms were charming and cozy. The TV was enormously awesome and appreciated. Thanks again!!

Coming back off a cruise to find Ms Caroline up to her neck in people trying to check in early due to the freezing temperatures. She handled everyone’s luggage and check in timely and with a smile. The hotel was fully booked and she did her best to get us in our rooms as early as possible.

Clean, quiet

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming little spot in (or near) New City, New York, and it was exactly what we needed—a nice, cozy retreat after a day of exploring the area. The room felt warm and inviting right from the start: comfortable bedding, spotless space, and that perfect "home away from home" vibe that makes you want to kick back and relax. But honestly, what elevated the entire experience was Zoe at the front desk! She was an absolute gem—super friendly, genuinely helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. From the warm welcome when we checked in to her thoughtful recommendations and quick fixes for little things, Zoe made us feel truly taken care of. We owe the smoothness and coziness of our stay to her outstanding service; she turned a good visit into a memorable one. If you're looking for a welcoming place with personal touches rather than cookie-cutter corporate vibes, this is it. Highly recommend—especially if Zoe is working the front desk! We'd happily return and ask for her by name next time. Thank you, Zoe—you made our trip special!

Jamar with valet does a fantastic job. He goes above and beyond to ensure a high satisfactory level is felt by the customers.

Great service no complaints Brodi was exceptional.

Thee entire establishment is picture perfect, food was delicious, beds were really comfy. The staff was very professional, yet one young man stood out to me. Not only was he gorgeous, but really sweet. He had manners like no other and made sure I did not touch my trunk to put my belongings in and he opened my door for me, everytime I encountered him. I believe his name was Brody ( I hope I’m right!)

So grateful to my valet guy Brody, he was super fast, funny and took really great care of our rental, which I asked him to do because our dad had already hit the bumper🥲🤣 Thanks Brody!!
