Ocean Star Inn

We stayed here before and thought we'd give it another try. We did like the location for things we were doing in the area. The room was clean. The breakfast choices were good and the staff was friendly.

The Room #118 lighting was extremely dark for being able to see things on the dark floors. They tried putting someone else in our room. The people actually opened our door with the assigned keys the front desk gave them. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. We could hear the conversations from the next room and the elephants pacing on the floor in the room above us. The Internet was useless and we had a first floor room that was close to the office, where you'd hope the signal would be the strongest. Also, never could get the supposed Direct TV to work, so no TV watching in our downtime.

Heating/cooling system outdated. No elevator

The continental Breakfast was just right. The the lobby, hallways and rooms were all very clean.

Nothing. Could use another blanket on the bed or just handy in the room.
