Cabañas La Montaña

We loved our treehouse vacation. The family is so friendly and welcoming and answers emails very quickly. The house is so beautiful and fully outfitted and you truly feel like you are in the trees. Be mindful that this is near town which is great if you don't have a car, but you do hear cars, children and the occasional donkey braying. It was close enough to walk to a grocery. At night the car noises do die down and weren't a problem. It did get hot during the afternoon, but once we opened all the windows and ran the fan it really cooled down. The nights were nice and cool and comfortable. We have nothing but wonderful things to say. Be sure to ask the owners about hikes and food. All their recommendations were spot on.

Incredible stay in the treehouse. Unique experience, embedded in a forested area. Very close to attractions. Grocery store is walkable distance. Fun for the whole family. We spent a lot of time in the house because it was relaxing and interesting.

Just finished a trip to Costa Rica. We stayed in many places but by far, the award winner for hospitality is here. Tracy is amazing and you will not be disappointed. Will be back to see her and stay here again.

Very cool property

We stayed 4 nights in the unit that was basically a tree house. We were up in the trees and did not see nor hear any of the other units. We enjoyed it very much and the owners are very nice. Would stay here again, definitely a recommendable unit.

Super endroit, le plus propre que j’ai vu au Costa Rica. Un accueil extrêmement gentil et aux petits soins. La cabane que j’ai eu était très bien, même si je changerais les rideaux vert c*c* d’oie (c’est une question de goût donc je ne leur en tiens pas rigueur) Globalement c’est chaleureux et à l’écart du centre de monteverde. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Lugar muito gostoso, espaçoso e limpo. Atendimento impecável e preocupação com o meio ambiente.

Awesome cabin immersed in the trees. Tracy was wonderful. She helped us set up several tours and offered great suggestions. We had scorpions in our room, but they are pretty ubiquitous here and didn’t bother us.

The Steel construction bullding High up between the trees was beautiful. As a family of Four we loves spending a few Days there. We Walker their small trail, drive the short 5 minutes to town, Walked 4 minutes to the local supermarked, did some tours and just enjoyed our pretty base. Breakfast for a small extra fee was great!

Tracey is an amazing host, beautiful room the tree house was out of this world! Will definitely be back
