Perfect stay, right on the University of Houston campus.

Very clean and nice hotel.

Check in was great the gentleman was very helpful and friendly, the 2 young ladies in the evening were rude and very unprofessional. When questions were asked they seemed so bothered and responded with attitude. We had an issue with inserting parking ticket on machine had to get another ticket, when I went to service desk my husband was treated by attitude and as soon as he walked away the unnecessary comments under their breathe happened. My daughter had an event at school that lasted longer than expected and we asked for courtesy late check out but immediately was told NO and hotel had plenry of empty rooms we checked online, I’m sad to think my daughter is going to school at UofH and I would have to be welcomed by that kind of behavior and service all the time.

The facilities and rooms have been updated beautifully, and the whole place is almost conspicuously clean. There's a new addition to the building but they've kept the rooms spacious unlike new construction hotels. The staff, which includes students at the Hilton School, is lovely and eager to help but not intrusive. The location is good if you have a car (or are not leaving campus), in the midst of campus, and has relatively easy access to highways. Parking is convenient (right under the building) and in the range typical for urban hotels, but with in-and-out privileges. It's also very quiet. The restaurant in the lobby is good and adds convenience. It also features a robot that brings your order to the table! I hope I never lose power again, but if I do, this hotel will be my first call - again. Which is another selling point ... The UH Hilton did not lose power during Hurricane Beryl!
